This restaurant is definitely worth going to. Everything was amazing. We ordered the surf and turf, salmon, ravioli, cold antipasto, fried calamari and i had a lobster dish that wasn’t on the menu because my wife had the last surf and turf. Our waiter Jose was very good he was on point with our service, he was very friendly and attentive. This diner was probably the best we’ve had here. We will definitely be back. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Really nice dinner. My first time but my family has been to it before when it was in the old location. Really beautiful decor and scenery now in this new spot. Overlooked the beach and had really nice vibes inside. We split apps and dinner. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The broccoli rabe was extremely bitter. We couldn't eat it. Maybe just a bad batch. Finished with mango gelato that was delectable and hit the spot.

I had an outstanding experience here and I cannot wait to go back !! It’s located in the Tropicana and has amazing views of the beach with a very peaceful atmosphere inside. I booked my reservation with my fiancee the day before in person with the hostess, who was really sweet and gave us a great table the next night! The food was absolutely incredible. We started with the fried calamari. It has been awhile since I had swordfish and it was so mouthwatering and filling. The dessert was extremely delectable, too. The chocolate cake was very high-quality, and the creme brûlée was the best I have ever had. And my girlfriend said the cheesecake was the best she’s ever had. Our server Mark was terrific and funny. A real good person. And Javier, the manager, could not go out of his way enough for us. I also noticed while eating that he spent a good amount of time with each table there interacting with everyone. We really enjoyed speaking with him just before we had our dessert. He is overall just a great guy, and you can easily tell he sincerely cared about meeting the dining needs of everyone there. Not only are both of us looking forward to going back and trying some new dishes, but we’re looking forward to speaking with all of them again. Definitely make it a point to stop there one night for dinner during your stay !! Photos below are by @danii.eatz on instagram

Good Italian place in the Tropicana resort. The bread they gave out to start was amazing with great butter and a roasted garlic olive oil dip. The burrata salad was not that great I have to say, the burrata was not very high quality. I had a few better burrata salads throughout Atlantic City. The Caesar salad was great, good dressing and fresh Parmesan. The gnocchi was fantastic, great vodka sauce. The Bronzino was out of this world, crispy skin and flaky inside. The risotto was also great. The spinach was ok nothing special. Service was great, Richard is a great server. Atmosphere is decent. The only bad part is we had to wait 30 min for a seat. They have a bar in the front. Highly recommend!!

The Happy Hour is 5:00 to 8:00 PM. That’s right, 8:00 PM; you had me sold right there. They have a nice little menu to choose from with one item being the pasta of the day for only $15.00. The bar oozes class and the bartenders have excellent skills and personalities. Everything exceeded my expectations.

A beautiful view of the ocean put my dinner off to a great start. I chose this restaurant because of a photo I saw online of flounder Francese. Mine looked exactly like the pic and tasted as good as it looked (excuse the bites taken out of it before snapping the photo below). Both the soft butter and roasted garlic in oil were an excellent spread on the warm table bread. My dining partner said her dish - rigatoni bolognese - was exceptional, with pasta cooked to al dente perfection and meat that you could actually taste because it wasn't drowning in sauce. I highly recommend!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Il Verdi Restaurant in Tropicana, Atlantic City, and it was a delightful experience. Despite the bustling atmosphere, we were graciously accommodated by Ricky, the wonderful friendly host, even without a reservation, and were seated at a lovely table with a stunning view of the sea. The moonlit beach and rhythmic waves added a magical touch to the evening, making it a picturesque backdrop for our dining experience. Our server, Barbara, radiated warmth and hospitality, and her 25+ years of experience shone through as she made us feel genuinely welcome. Andres the busser was also very attentive, quickly clearing the plates and topping off our glasses of water. The appetizers were a culinary delight. The Caprese salad was a burst of freshness, with vibrant tomatoes and creamy mozzarella perfectly complemented by the basil and balsamic glaze. The Crab Cake Appetizer was equally impressive, featuring succulent crab meat and a flavorful blend of spices. Moving on to the mains, the Gnocchi was a revelation of cheesy goodness, each bite exploding with flavor. The Bolognese pasta was a meat lover's dream, with the rich sauce clinging perfectly to the freshly made pasta. The pairing of an Aperol Spritz and a selection of fresh pints of beer elevated the dining experience. In conclusion, Il Verdi provided a wonderful and memorable evening. From the welcoming atmosphere and breathtaking views to the scrumptious appetizers and flavorful mains, every aspect of our visit was exceptional. I highly recommend Il Verdi for a delightful dining experience in Atlantic City.
